The EU-funded project ESEP4Freight today unveiled the new web platform

https://intermodal-railfreight.eu/, designed to make intermodal rail freight more accessible,

transparent, and competitive across Europe.

At the heart of the platform is an Interactive Map that displays intermodal terminals and helps

users plan routes primarily by rail, with the option to integrate available barge connections. Road

transport is considered only for first/last-mile links.
