 The ESEP4Freight project, co-funded by the Europe’s Rail Joint Undertaking and the European Union, aims to boost the modal shift to rail through the development of a comprehensive Web Platform that integrates a suite of digital services to enhance efficiency, transparency, and collaboration in freight logistics. At this event, we will present the final results of the project and showcase the ESEP4Freight Web Platform, which includes: · Interactive Map – Displays transport infrastructure, freight terminals, and rail services · Corridors Viewer – Provides insights on the TEN-T rail corridors, freight volumes, and potential routes for modal shift · Route Viewer – Shows intermodal connections with an external cost estimator · Contract Toolbox – Offers legal framework information, SWOT analysis for smart contracts, and recommendations for harmonized agreements · Proof-of-Concept for Smart Contracts – Demonstrates blockchain-based smart contracts aligned with the eFTI (electronic Freight Transport Information) regulation · Terminal Comparison Tool & Contacts Directory – Enables comparison of freight terminals and access to a network of intermodal actors across Europe Link to registration |
