On November 6 and 7, representatives from business, politics, and academia gathered in Berlin to discuss the current challenges and opportunities of #intermodal#transport. This year, the focus was on setting the course for the transformation of #combined #transport, particularly in light of a forecasted growth of approximately 89% by 2040 (according to the Traffic Interconnections Forecast 2040). The congress began with a pre-evening program that showcased innovative concepts from research projects and featured a lively panel discussion on key transformation topics in the areas of energy, logistics, and start-up trends. The following day, keynote speeches and the subsequent panel discussion deepened the dialogue, giving participants the opportunity to exchange best practices and explore forward-looking solutions for the combined transport sector.
